I couldn't write.
My life is getting messy. It seems I've been getting a lot of stress lately. I wonder what's causing this. I wonder if it is regret. I won't lie, I do have regrets.

Moving.
It has been an exhausting day. I have spent more than 8 hours moving stuffs from my old apartment to the new apartment I just rented. Friends from other houses too are also moving to another house, so we rented one truck from U-Haul for the day for DIY moving. As bad as it seems for me as I had to carry and move my heavy stuffs along with other friends' while I fasting during the day, it got worse later in the night when the truck had to be returned. While returning the truck, I borrowed my friend's phone as my own phone died earlier in the evening to make a call. The thing is, the truck can be returned at anytime 24/7 just by dropping the key at the return place, which was only a small hole bored at the door for you to drop the key. Since we were returning the truck past 12, specifically 2 in the morning, we dropped the key when there was no one attending the area (only CCTV monitoring the place). Right after my friend dropped the key inside, I thought that the key-drop system was cool and wanted to take a photo of it. And yes, as mentioned earlier, my phone was already dead and so I asked the same friend again, Faizey for his phone. Faizey's face immediately froze in shock, and asked me back wasn't his phone with me. Then it occurred to me that I left his phone in the truck.
At that moment, I realized that my friendship with Faizey had deepened to a whole new level as we patted on each others back, laughing our souls out in frustration of the incident.
Anyway, we already planned on going back to the place early in the morning tomorrow to get back his phone.

As of now, I am currently in my new apartment, which is a lot smaller than the previous one I rented.
Here is how my room looks like:
It is pretty tight place for my stuffs as I am also sharing the room the same roommate, Pidot (Firdaus).
Believe it or not, this one box is how I organize my stuffs for moving. It basically contains all the stuffs I ever care about. What's in is important, what's out is less important. It is of course not the best way, but it works for me.
After some time rummaging, moving and arranging stuffs in this tight space of my room, I finally got my workspace back up.
I still can't be satisfied with how it looks though, cause there are still a lot more cleaning to be done in the other part of the house. So I guess this is it for now, I'm off to continue unpacking my stuffs.

BBQ at Prophetstown, Indiana.
These photos were taken last May 12, on Sunday. There's nothing much I can say about it, and I guess photos says it all. We had barbecue, there were a number of friends helping one another with the barbecue. Me? Well I just step back and grabbed my camera taking photos of them. There were already more than 10 people there at the time, so there was no need for me to add to the crowd of cooks. "Too many cooks ruins the food", my roommate once said to me which explains why we took turns cooking in our apartment.
Anyway, the barbecue was awesome, but nature surrounding the place was better. That place happened to have a river nearby, and it was green was all over the place.
Me, with Crocs on top of a river rock.
I was stepping on the rocks to make my way across the river, and I can say that Crocs really had a strong grip on those slippery rocks. But even though it had a nice grip, I found it requires more effort that I soon had my feet in the river, which was easier.
That's Aiman Ramlee in yellow. Said the river was cold yet still crossed it not wanting to miss what Pidot was enjoying on the other side. None of these two thought about what was hiding under the rocks Pidot was sitting on,
until Muja found that there were crayfishes.
until Muja found that there were crayfishes.
Apart from having barbecue and capturing crayfishes, I had plenty of good time taking photos in the river.
The legendary Mujahid.
Awal Fikry watching from afar.
Finally, one of the best part of all, someone took a photo of me in the river.

Back from hiatus again.
I was testing the camera to shoot for something else actually, but then I ended up taking a photo of myself. Think of it as doing myself a favor (I rarely had photos of myself taken).
This was what I have been doing last two weeks. Edited a lot of photos. It should have been an enjoyable thing to do, but last two weeks, I have been saying a lot of yes to people, that I ended up helping the Malaysian student's association here at my university by being their photographer for the Graduation Night. That was okay, but the fact that Ialso had to produce them a video for that event, and also actually perform on stage with the band on that same event, really tested me. Anyway, I got out alive. All is well.
What now? Time to get things back together.

The little things I appreciate during hard times.
A reliable keyboard for typing all those damned codes.
A reliable mouse for scrolling and finding all those damned problematic codes.
It is now near the end of spring semester. Basically all I am saying is that throughout this semester, I sacrificed a major part of my life sitting in front of the computer. Am I losing a great deal of quality time? Maybe. Maybe not. Just maybe, maybe not.

Confused.
Heard the news that a friend who was majoring in the same field as I am just changed his major yesterday. I asked him about what brought him to that decision. He said that after much thought, his new major is all he needed for what he wanted to do in the future.
Tonight, I felt as though something struck me in the heart my while I was playing the guitar, which then I stopped playing. I can't recall what I was staring at that moment, but I do know that whatever my eyes were looking at that time wasn't on my mind as my thought went astray inside the collection of memories inside my head. I started to think back about all the things that I have been doing all my life, all the things I have done, what I used to like and who I used to love, before my thoughts and my consciousness were reeled back into reality when my friend who saw me motionless during that time called me and asked, "Kau fikir ape tu Naim?".
There was a pause,
and then,
"Apa aku nak eh? Kau pulak apa kau nak?", I questioned him back as a reply which implied what I was thinking.
I have come a long way following my dream, yet I am feeling that something is still amiss.
I wonder what pushed me to go this far.
This is saddening.
Sigh. I don't think I would want to remember.
Maybe, a good night sleep is all I need

Have a cup of coffee.
It has been quite some time since I bought this lens. It's actually a manual lens from an old camera I won't go into details about it because it will be boring if I did so. Got it for about 20 dollars I think. Though it is quite cheap, I am not quite happy because of the fact I haven't been having much time to actually use it. Sigh.
Anyways, I just started another new semester in college this week. From what I have been through during my first week, it is sufficient enough to say that I had rough start. It is actually a very long story, but to make it short, let's just say that too many shits happened. Things that should have gone smoothly, as it did to my friends, turned out ugly to me. However, I'm not entirely surprised by it. In fact, I have always anticipated that something bad would happen.
Still, I am hoping for better days in the future.

A mess to start the new year with.
It is now like less than two days left before the advanced credit test, and I think most of the things that I have studied for Chemistry 2 during the winter break has found their way out of my brain. It's a shame that even though I spent most of my time in my room because it was too cold outside, I still feel like I have studied nothing at all. Perhaps, my consciousness wasn't studying at all when I read the textbook. Whichever that is, it is stupefyingly ridiculous, and I am well aware that all is entirely my fault. I was too ambitious, yet I did not try hard enough.
A friend came all the way from another state and stayed in my room during this winter break.
Life was partly awesome, plus partly at its worst.
Like any other new year, it looks like I'll have to gather myself back to one piece starting a new semester.
Heads up, heads up. Sigh.

Snow Meh.
Some of the cool stuffs you can see during the winter.
Finally, after a number of cold days and nights, it snowed. Now I am going to suffer even more from the cold. Hooray!
Me with somebody's snow-um. I don't know.

All to kill some time.
This guy is Afiq Ady. He is really taking his time recording a project we came up out of boredom.
It's almost 6 a.m. in the morning and I still am wide awake. Well, I guess sometimes things happen to be harder that what you had initially thought. Whether it is worth or not, I don't know. But hey, if it is something that you happen to enjoy, why not give it a some of your time.
Oh. The audio recording is almost finished now. I better keep my heads for tomorrow I'll be grabbing back my camera for some video recording, something I haven't been doing for quite a while.
For the time being, check out a snippet of what we're up to:

This time, I mean it.
Honestly, I feel sad that lately I rarely spend my time going around taking photos, which I used to do and love a lot. It's not that I lost my love in it, but it's just that something feels not right, as if something is lost. Sigh. Whatever that is, I might be leaving it behind, and start again. Oh well, just say hi again.

Sister power.
So, my sister was bored last night that she helped me pack my stuffs into the luggage bag. It sure is convenient to have someone like her around especially when you're doing a last minute packing.
I am amazed to see how neat it became. I could not imagine how would it look like had I packed it all by myself. Thanks sis!
Flight scheduled at 2340. Hoping and praying for a safe journey.

Fair enough.
I have a friend who always gets all the things people wanted. Other friends can't help but sometimes envy his luck. Sometimes even I would joke to him that everything comes too easy for him.
Little did others know that he never got what he wanted, and they all blamed the sad reality that fell upon them.
Well, the world doesn't spin for you. You have to ride along.

A sad Parting.
Had the chance to hang out with this guy only for one short semester. Even so, it turns out we are really compatible friends. We're supposed to go to the same university and already had many things planned out, but some things happened (a long story) and caused him to wait for another year to get there.
Let's just hope and pray that this time, this one year plan of his works without any problem. Till then, we'll be supporting you dear friend.

A lesson never learnt.
My life lately has become more and more messed up. But of course, me being me, there’s no one else for me to blame my fate of life upon. After all, I have always been the one who messes up my life.
Yesterday, I finally got rid of all my book vouchers as I went to Kinokuniya. After abusing my eyes from browsing through innumerable lines of books, I settled myself with 3 books.
Right now, I am quite happy to get my hands on the books, but at the same time, I can’t be too happy about it. I still have a few more books yet to read.
Plus, the fact that I haven’t been keeping my study desk tidy lately.
Now, there are stuffs all over the place.
Oh well, at least it doesn’t look that bad since I’ve kept kept it nice since last year.

Semester break starts.
I've gone overboard this time for leaving this blog here all alone for so long. Life's harsh on you eh blog? It's been the same for me too. So chill out, kay? : P
Semester break is finally here, and it's now been about a week I guess since I left my hostel for the break. It just boggles my mind to know how darn lazy I have been this entire week. I started to realize that I was wasting precious time in my life when I was tidying up my room just now. Yes, I've step foot inside my room for days now, and only today I somehow had the urge to clean up the mess in my room. My bags, books, and other stuffs that I brought in back from hostel were on the floor of my room all the time. Can you imagine that throughout this week, I've been living in such a hostile environment? Man, I must be some sort of a super human being. Me gusta.
Fathi's clock ended up inside my room. By the way, Fathi is my housemate back in hostel. Here, in my room, you can tell by looking at the books there that I'm not done tidying up my room. Oh, and there's the old antique computer. -.- How do I get rid of it?
Sigh. It's still a long way to go.

A random update.
From the fourth floor of my hostel block.
I was testing out Jijie's D90. It feels great.
Just now, someone asked me whether I have updated my blog or not. Of course I didn't need to take time to answer that because the answer is an obvious no. Ironically, that contradicts what I had resolved in my previous blog post. For those who have not read that, and are too lazy too scroll down to that post, click here. You can see that how I just bullshitted there. I have a netbook with me, and Internet all the time yet I still can't update as regularly as I said I will. Sigh.
Anyway, my life has been, I don't know lately. I had another SAT practice test on Wednesday. I can't say much about it. So far I've gotten the marks for the reading and maths section. Reading has improved a little; my maths dropped. Overall for both sections, it has improved a little if I compare it to the previous tests, but I can't say the same thing if I were to add up the mark for the writing section. I haven't gotten my essay score, but I have the feeling it's not gonna be any good because I when I was halfway doing my essay, I realized that I was writing off topic. -.-
In short, I sucked my SAT practice test.
Enough with that already. Let's move on to something else. Now's August 12th! You know what does that means? I don't know Okay, I'm just blurting out random stuffs. My birthday was on the 9th, and it was great. Friends acted out events that led me to having no choice but to follow them eat out for breaking the fast. Supposedly, we were to go to the usual mamak restaurant, but Arsyad who was driving the car drove farther and farther until we finally reached Subang Parade. Real thanks guys (Arsyad, Fauzan, Fathi, Syazwan, Epul). I will treasure that day in my memory forever. Damn I love you guys.

Of what hides in the shadow.
Nevertheless, you can always move forward.
This may be kind of random, but starting from now, I resolve to write more in this blog. As to why? SAT and TOEFL scares me especially when it comes to writing. I haven't had anything much written for the past months that now my writing has become really terrible. It's not like I can't write anymore, but I tend to digress a lot halfway. Seems like I have to do something before it gets any worse.

What goes around, sometimes comes dead.
Apparently, there's a cat at my house and it's been already months now. How I found it well, I don't really pick it up. I don't remember exactly when is that day, but there is this one day a few months earlier when I saw this cat in the back alley of my house. It was a skinny cat meow-ing at people's kitchen windows. I got out, fed it and played with a for a while and that's it. Though I love cats, I didn't plan on taking care of this one. But the next day, instead of wandering in the back alley like how it used to before, it was in front of the door when I opened the door to the porch of my house.
A cat being cat. This is what I found last night.
This has now been a daily sight.
A cat being cat. This is what I found last night.
Not just last night. Once in a while, it brings home this.
Sometimes, you don't have to look for pets because sometimes, they will just come and look for you.

Alhamdulillah. : )
Hey there. Yeah it's me again, back here after quite a long time silencing here since my previous post. The reason for that is erm, well, for some reasons for short. I ain't gonna bore you with all that.
The picture of the day:

The picture of the day:
Finally, I got my film rolls processed.
After months, I realised that the films just won't walk it's way for processing.
Waiting for the MARA interview result sure took some time. But it's worth the wait. I was on facebook on Monday night when Waffy sent me a link directing me to a page to check the result. Alhamdulillah. I got it.
MARA will be sending me to do the American Degree Foundation Programme at INTEC. : )
Will be registering on July the 3rd. Guess what does that means? Plenty of time to rot comfortably at home.
I think I should begin studying and revising something. My brain has deteriorated over these fluffy times. =.=
